ABOUT FISHERMAN'S PARADISE
| Hello, I'm Bill Werner. Together with my wife Carrie, we are dairy
farmers in Tillamook, Oregon. We've been blessed with a beautiful family
and a wonderful place to live.
Through the years, I've enjoyed fixing up a family picnic and fishing
area at our riverbank, that up until now, has only been used by our family
and close friends. My dream is to have a place where people who don't have
access to a river area can come to fish and play. That dream is now Fisherman's
Paradise!

We've been dairy farming now for over 30 years. All through
the years I've seen my Dad and brothers bring up huge Salmon. My Dad
always had a big fish on his cleaning board in the garage and my brothers
often caught their limit. My Dad finally quit fishing at age 93 and sadly,
he passed away at age 95 back in 2004. |

| We also lost my oldest brother Ed
Jr. in 2005. Ed was a legendary fisherman and left a legacy of fishing to
his kids and grand kids. Ed had a favorite hole that he fished in on our
riverbank, and it became known as "Ed's Hole". My brother Bob,
an avid outdoorsman, continues to bring in the "big ones" and
has given us many fish through the years. |

 Ed Werner, Sr. |
My father, Ed Werner, Sr. bought our farm around the
time of WWII. He raised 13 children, 7 girls and 6 boys, of which I'm the
youngest. He became an avid fisherman later in life and passed his love of
fishing down to his sons, except for me. I'm the farmer in the family.
I've always known we had one of the best fishing holes in Tillamook
County, and it was even better because it was ours! It was dubbed,
"The Werner Hole". Fisherman from all over know about The
Werner
Hole on the Trask River. |

| We have 3 children, Jesse, Andy and Gracie. Jesse, the
oldest, is a diesel mechanic/welder and he and his wife Crystal have 3
children, Caleb, Alex and Emily. Our second son, Andy, is a custom cabinet
maker/contractor. He and his wife Laura also have 3 children, Judah,
Rebekah and Cyrus. Both families live here on the farm, so we're doubly
blessed to have all of our grandchildren right next door. Our youngest,
Gracie is a certified Veterinary Technician. She works
in a vet hospital in Beaverton. Gracie is also the fisherman in the family, and it is her photo what we place on our website and flyers! |
